WCAG'a tam uyum iddia etmiyoruz).
Geri bildirim
Accessibility statement
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Purpose
We design Forevermore with users with dyslexia and ADHD in mind: short paths, few choices, calm motion, readable type. What exists and what we have not tested yet are listed separately below; we do not promise features that do not exist.
In the app
- One click to the next step: the "Next best move" card on the Overview page lets you move on without scanning a list. Bulk apply shows a preview first and reports the result.
- Readable type: Settings > Accessibility > readable type turns on the Verdana font and wider line spacing.
- High contrast: in the same place; it takes effect after the app restarts.
- Reduce motion: in the same place; it takes effect immediately and turns off transitions and glow animations.
- Search: Ctrl+K searches across settings.
- Counts and state: category pages show "N / M settings on", so you can see which changes are active at a glance.
- Undo: every change can be undone, so a wrong choice has no lasting effect.
On this site
- Reading mode: the "Reading mode" button at the top of the home page turns on, across the whole page, one legible typeface (Lexend; Atkinson Hyperlegible or OpenDyslexic can be chosen from the "Aa" button), adjustable 18–26 px text, wider letter, word and line spacing, left-aligned lines of at most 65 characters, and a single soft off-white or soft dark background. Italics and all-caps are turned off; animations, the scrolling strip and decorative backgrounds stop. There is also a reading progress bar, an "In short" summary in each section and an optional reading line. Your choices are stored only in your browser. A friend told us the first version made reading harder; we fixed it on 30 October 2026 and rebuilt reading mode from scratch. If it still gets in the way, please tell us.
- The system's "reduce motion" and "high contrast" preferences are respected.
- The demo tabs work with the arrow keys; keyboard focus is shown with a visible ring.
- Nothing relies on color alone: evidence labels use both color and a symbol (✓ ? ✕ and others).
What we have not tested yet
- We have not done thorough testing with screen readers (NVDA, Narrator); the desktop app's screen reader support may be limited.
- Text contrast for the app's color palette was calculated against WCAG AA ratios; the site uses the same colors but each page of the site has not been audited separately.
- This statement is not a conformance claim (for example, we do not claim full WCAG conformance).
Feedback
If something makes it hard to read, use or understand, write to smileyw on our Discord server or to forevermore.destek@protonmail.com. Telling us what was hard is enough; you do not need to suggest a fix.
